The hardest working garment in any Pioneers wardrobe

Origins

The exact origins of overalls are unclear, but they are mentioned in literature as early as 1776 as protective working garments worn by manual labourers. With Levi Strauss' refinement of denim in the 1870s, overalls proved durable and comfortable enough that by the early 20th century, miners and railroad workers commonly wore them.

Our Coveralls are inspired by Sir Winston Churchill himself. The practical one-piece was something he could slip on over his clothes or pajamas in the event of an air raid during the Second World War. The 'Siren Suit' as it was called, came in a variety of fabrics including military-style suits and more extravagant pin-striped and velvet ensembles.
